Better for our clients

Accessing and growing in new markets

Key issues:

  • Knowing when and where to invest.
  • Choosing the right joint–venture partner and the right structure for your venture.
  • Knowing when to go it alone through acquisitions.

In a joint survey by KPMG International and the Economic Intelligence Unit, of 330 senior executives, 46% said expansion into foreign markets was a top priority for future growth.

The rapid development of Brazil, Russia, India, China and other fast–developing markets is throwing up important opportunities for both inward and outward investment. But simply transferring a successful existing business model to a new market rarely succeeds.

We have set up a New & Emerging Markets practice to support clients in overseas markets. This brings together a multinational team of KPMG specialists from KPMG member firms in Brazil, Russia, India, China, Korea, Vietnam and other countries.
