We are inclusive and that makes us stronger
There’s a moral and social duty on employers to be inclusive in the way they recruit and develop people. But being inclusive also makes great business sense. It increases the pool of talent available, attracts innovative thinkers and reflects the varied character of clients. Above all, it’s what the best employees expect of us.
For example, our diversity training programme – Daring to be Different – enables partners to take a lead on creating an inclusive workplace. Almost 70% of partners have now completed the programme, and a further 650 people management leaders in the firm have also completed diversity training in the last 18 months.
79% of respondents to our most recent employee survey believe our managers and partners support an inclusive workplace. There is more we can do, but we are moving in the right direction.
