This year we built on our aim of becoming an employer of choice by working to create a high performance culture within KPMG. This means fostering a working environment in which our people feel challenged and enabled to achieve their full potential while delivering the best possible service to our clients.
We recognise that recruiting and getting the very best from market leading individuals, requires market leading reward. Independent benchmarks confirm that we have successfully implemented this policy. We believe we offer the most substantial bonus pool of all UK accounting firms. This has increased again this year to £100 million, up 25% on last year.
