In 2007 we produced an exceptional operating performance, enabled our employees to achieve more for our clients and for themselves, and put in place strong foundations for KPMG Europe LLP. We achieved outstanding results this year and believe we can now do even better.
We produced a strong top line performance in 2007, with revenue growing by 11% to £1,607 million and even better profit growth for the year, up 20% to £447 million. We have concentrated on providing added value to clients and earning the right price for our services, rather than winning new assignments at all costs.
