Charitable Giving
| During 2005-06 we made nearly 1400 charitable donations totalling £1 million. |
KPMG’s Donation Policy focuses on community and environment, particularly through education, to help enhance social inclusion for individuals and communities and to support charities that maintain and enhance biodiversity. Our donations budgets are to support the volunteering of our people.

Help the Hospices |
In July 2007 the UK firm took
the decision to
extend the Staff Charity relationship
from one year to two years, and
our people voted to extend our
relationship with Help the Hospices
for
an additional year. Through our
Staff Charity relationship we
have
already raised more than £500,000
through Payroll Giving, employee
fundraising and our internal
environmental programme – we
hope to raise £1 million
for Help
the Hospices in total during
the two years.
