Welcome to the Autumn edition of KPMG's Social Housing Newsletter.
Housing is becoming an increasingly high profile political topic. In early September, the Government announced a housing stimulus package, shortly before the appointment of a new housing minister. It will be interesting to see how the policy changes will play out as the details become clear. Further illustration of housing moving towards the centre of the political centre was seen with Ed Balls' proposal that revenues from 4G spectrum sales should be used to build affordable homes.
